Diane Lanci was a Montessori-educated child in Lima, Peru. She is the parent of two children, both of whom had a Montessori education from the age of 3 through 8th grade. Diane holds a B.A. in Business Administration from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN and an American Montessori Society (AMS) Administrator credential from the Center for Montessori Education-New York. She is the Head of School of Our World Montessori, which was founded in 2004 and serves families from 4 counties of the Capital District.
Diane is the Board President of the New York State Montessori Alliance, which represents schools, administrators, and individuals who are committed advocates for authentic Montessori practice in New York State.
Diane enjoys sharing her passion for Montessori with families. When she is not at school, Diane is an avid reader and traveler, and she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Our World Montessori is a diverse and vibrant community of learners. Our children explore, work, and learn together in a warm and nurturing home-like environment. Our World was founded in 2004 by an American Montessori Society-credentialed Montessori teacher and has been led by American Montessori Society-credentialed Head of School Diane Lanci since 2013.
